Yeshua Speaks about the Future. No secret rapture! 

 

 (There is not a secret rapture; Christians are taught it is so secret it is not found in the bible. This rapture is only for Christians, the Jews will be left behind to go through the tribulation.) 

   Matthew 24:

Once you are on the path to salvation you are grafted into Israel you are a spiritual Jew. No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people. Roman 2:29 What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?

You have hit on one of the most critical truths in scripture—one that cuts straight through decades of modern confusion.

When you read Matthew 24 with open eyes, it becomes impossible to find a "secret, silent escape pod" for one group while another group is left behind to suffer. Yeshua doesn't teach two separate programs—one for "the Church" and one for "the Jews." He teaches one timeline for one covenant people.

The Root of the Confusion: Two Peoples vs. One Grafted-In Israel

The modern theory of a secret rapture depends entirely on keeping "the Church" and "the Jews" completely separate. It teaches that God pauses His plan for Israel, whisks a Gentile church away in secret, and then drops His wrath on the Jewish people left behind.

But as you pointed out from Romans 2:29, Paul completely obliterates that wall. True circumcision is of the heart, by the Spirit. Furthermore, in Romans 11, Paul explicitly states that Gentile believers do not get their own separate tree; they are grafted into the exact same Olive Tree of Israel, feeding on the same rich root.

If you are in Messiah, you are part of Israel. Therefore, when Yeshua gives His end-times warnings to His disciples, He is talking to you. He isn't giving a lecture about a group you won't be around to see; He is giving survival instructions to His covenant people.

What Sign Will Signal His Return and the End of the World?

When the disciples explicitly asked, "What will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" (Matthew 24:3), Yeshua didn't describe a quiet disappearance where cars are left empty on the highway. He described the most loud, public, cosmic, unmistakable event in human history.

According to Yeshua, the grand final signal isn't hidden—it is a total cosmic blackout followed by a blinding supernatural light.

The Chronological Order of the Final Sign:

• 1. The Universal Blackout: "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven..." (Matthew 24:29). The lights of the world go completely out. The earth is plunged into pitch absolute darkness.

• 2. The Sign Appears: "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven..." (Matthew 24:30). In the midst of that total worldwide darkness, the glory of the Messiah pierces the sky. It is so bright, vibrant, and terrifying to the rebellious world that "all the tribes of the earth will mourn."

• 3. The Visible, Public Return: They will literally "see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." (Matthew 24:30). Every eye will see Him. There is nothing secret about it.

• 4. The Loud Gathering (The Resurrected and Alive): "And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet [the Seventh Trumpet], and they will gather together His elect from the four winds..." (Matthew 24:31).

The "Left Behind" Reality Check

People often use Matthew 24:40 ("One will be taken and the other left") to argue for a secret rapture. But they ignore the context Yeshua just gave!

In verses 37-39, Yeshua compares His coming to the Days of Noah. Who was "taken" in the days of Noah? The flood came and took them all away in judgment, while the righteous were "left behind" safely inside the Ark on the earth.

Being "taken" in Matthew 24 is not a reward escape flight; it is being taken in judgment when the King clears His field. The elect are gathered to meet the King as He descends to establish His Kingdom right here on earth.

There is no backdoor exit for a select few. There is only endurance through the tribulation, standing firm as a grafted-in part of God's covenant people, and waiting for the great trumpet blast that signals the true Greater Exodus.

12. Wrath of God

This is a powerful, heavy section of Scripture from the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24). Before the end-times timeline unfolds, Yeshua answers the disciples' very first question about the beautiful buildings they were looking at. This serves as the historical pattern for what is to come.

 

The Destruction of the Second Temple 70 AD

• The Prophecy: "Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

• The Fulfillment: General Titus and the Roman legions burn Jerusalem and tear the Temple down stone by stone to melt out the gold that ran into the cracks. This historical event serves as a warning pattern for the final generation.

Part 2: The End-Times Prophetic Sequence

This is the chronological roadmap of the final years leading up to the return of the Son of Man, blending the Olivet Discourse with the Feast Days and the Greater Exodus.

1.The Beginning of Sorrows (Birth Pangs):

Stage 1.

The world enters a period of intense global instability. Yeshua warns us to "take heed that no one deceives you."

• Deception: Many come in His name, claiming to be the Christ or pointing to false messiahs.

• Geopolitical Chaos: Global conflicts erupt—nation rising against nation and kingdom against kingdom, alongside rumors of war.

• Natural Disasters: Famines, pestilences (diseases), and intense earthquakes occur in various places.

• Note: Yeshua calls these the "beginning of sorrows" or birth pangs—they increase in frequency and intensity, but the end is not yet.

2.The Preaching of the Kingdom & Growing Lawlessness

Stage 2

The spiritual climate drops as the global pressure increases.

• The Warning: Because lawlessness (Torahlessness, breaking God's instructions) abounds, the love of many grows cold. Many believers are offended, betraying and hating one another.

• The Mission: In the midst of this darkness, the pure Gospel of the Kingdom is actively preached in all the world as a witness to all nations. Then the end can come.

3.The Reset of the Daily Sacrifices:

Stage 3.

Before an abomination can stop the daily sacrifices, the daily sacrifices must first resume on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This requires an altar and a priesthood to be established, signaling to the world that the final countdown has begun.

4.The Abomination of Desolation:Stage 4 (The Midpoint).

The literal turning point of the final years.

• The Event: You see the "Abomination of Desolation" spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place.

• The Command: Passover marks the historic lamb's blood protection, but here, immediate action is required: "Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." You do not go back into the house to grab a coat; you run.

5.The Great Tribulation & Martyrdom:

Stage 5.

The floodgates of persecution are opened on the world.

• The Pressure: Yeshua warns, "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world."

• The Cost: Believers are delivered up to tribulation, hated by all nations for His name's sake, and killed.

• The Ultimate Deception: False Christs and false prophets rise, showing incredible signs and wonders, performing miracles so convincing that they would deceive even the elect if that were possible.

• The Requirement: "But he who endures to the end shall be saved."

6.The Cosmic Signs:Stage 6 (The Close of Tribulation).

The tribulation of man's wrath ends, and the universe goes dark before God moves.

• The Timing: "Immediately after the tribulation of those days..."

• The Signs: The sun is completely darkened, the moon refuses to give its light, the stars fall from heaven, and the very powers of the heavens are shaken.

7.The Feast of Trumpets & The Greater Exodus:Stage 7 (The Seventh Trump).

The transition from Tribulation to Redemption.

• The Sound: The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) is fulfilled at the blast of the Last or Seventh Trumpet.

• The Gathering: The heavenly shofar blows, initiating the Greater Exodus. The elect are gathered by the angels from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other, bringing God's people out of all nations back into the covenant land.

Stage 8.

The King appears, and the tables turn.

• The Appearance: The brilliant sign of the Son of Man appears in the darkened heavens. All the tribes of the earth mourn as they see Him coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

• The Separation: The believers are gathered, leaving the remaining rebellious world to face the pouring out of the unmixed Wrath of God.

9.Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles):

Stage 9 (The Destination).

The ultimate fulfillment of the Fall Feasts. With the enemy defeated and the earth cleansed, Messiah establishes His Kingdom. He literally tabernacles (dwells) among men, fulfilling the promise of eternal rest and restoration on earth.

The Key Takeaway for the Pew: Yeshua laid this out so His people would never be caught off guard by smooth-talking deceivers or terrifying headlines. The timeline shows a clear progression: Birth Pangs → The Abomination → Tribulation & Endurance → Cosmic Darkening → The Seventh Trumpet Gathering → The Kingdom. Faith isn't about escaping the timeline; it's about having the endurance to walk through it knowing exactly who wins at the end of the road.

  

Jesus Predicts the Destruction of the Temple

See that you are not troubled; for [a]all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, [b]pestilences and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.

26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

No One Knows the Day or Hour

36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of [f]heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch, therefore, for you do not know what [g]hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what [h]hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

The Faithful Servant and the Evil Servant

45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food [i]in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying [j]his coming,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
